The eighth generation of the Myburgh family is custodian of the domain, which is classified National Monument, and still actively using the 18th century cellar. In this cellar, the classics of France are being vinified in variety- or blended wines, all high quality with a typical South-African twist. Rubicon is top end, only produced in the best vintages and rewarded as the "Best New World Red" by Decanter in 2009. Business, according to the Myburghs, is strongly intertwined with projects of social and environmental nature.
